WCII vs CVUS technology?

Steve correct me if I'm wrong (it's been happening more and more), but I thought that the present WORKING state of technology for Winstar was basically point to point - kind of a wireless fiber. CVUS on the other hand can "broadcast" to small receivers in everyone's living room. WCII has "roof rights" because it needs them. I thought they had to install matching pairs of highly directional antennas and then run wires down to each customer - Big NO NO for residential customers in multi-dwellings in NYC. You have to deal with landlords, fire department, Cable company/landlord contract restrictions etc. Also I thought that they could not use the same frequencies in nearby areas for different customers, thus placing a severe limit on allowable bandwidth.

The above does not apply to the "business park" model that I thought Winstar was going after - where they wire a major building (or campus)and then put one master antenna.

I know a few years down the road Winstar hopes to have multipoint working, but CVUS is there now.

Point me and my receiver in the right direction - I would not be adverse to buying some WCII (or going into business with some of the Guys on this thread).
