The following is a link to an article about economic conditions in China that appeared in the SF Chronicle yesterday. Those who are in contact with MM are well aware of his views on the potential effect of dramatic changes in China's economy on both Asia and the US economy as well as the Y2K sector. In his view, if China undergoes drastic devaluation of the yuan, ALL BETS ARE OFF. EVEN Y2K.

Be aware, and be prepared.

PS: Thanks Nanda for your brilliance. I, too, took SYNT profits and plowed into UBIX today.

Josef,

Great earnings but First Call had 1 analyst following this with an estimate of 0.11. Company reported 0.10. Hmm, now what?

Maybe it's a good thing I didn't jump into UBIX.

Will stay away from Forty primarily due to low volume.

COGIF may be the play as you suggested. Will do some DD on COGIF and see if it has the legs of SYNT. My guess is that it will. Article in IBD (New America today), good earnings, Y2K sector momentum, and your endorsement ;-) should all add up to at least a run into mid 20's.

Good hunting and thanks.
