I recently saw an article that said Santa Claus was a terrorist.

It is advisable to be skeptical of "facts" that pop up in news feeds or echo chambers or social media. The algorithms are programmed to make users angry in order to increase engagement (and profits) on the platforms.

businessinsider.com

From the article:
In 2023, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez owned up to $46,000 in assets — and had at least $15,000 in student loan debt — her most recent financial disclosure said. She makes $174,000 a year. Tom Williams/CQ Roll Call via Getty Images

You can look this information up yourself. Disclosures filed by House members and senators are available online. They are required to file these documents annually and include information about lawmakers' assets, outside income, debts, and other agreements.
