By criticizing the reactions to Trump's extreme acts of lunacy, they can avoid having to defend Trump himself. Second, it's the very definition of gaslighting. When Trump says or does something that only a deranged monarch would do, we're being told that WE'RE the crazy ones for reacting strongly. However, a normal person SHOULD react strongly to Trump's craziness. Nothing that Trump does should ever be considered normal. Not now, and not ever. And third, if it weren't for double standards, MAGA would have no standards. Think about how st00pid and deranged the MAGA cult is. - They will justify ANYTHING that Trump does as "5-D chess" and "expert dealmaking," even though there is absolutely no consistency in what he does, and even though his word is complete shit. - They LOVE it when Trump shackles illegal immigrants for the cameras. (Never mind the fact that Trump and the bald Goebbels are busy creating MORE illegal immigrants by revoking the temporary legal status of law-abiding laborers.) In fact, the cruelty is the point. - They go around flying their MAGA flags and wearing their MAGA hats and holding their Trump bibles and wearing Trump cologne and walking around in Trump sneakers and purchasing Trump meme coins and sporting their Trump watches and trading in Trump NFTs and posting sUpErMaN tRuMp images on social media ... but WE'RE supposedly the "deranged" ones. - After complaining loudly about how prices for everything went up, they now proudly declare that they will pay any price just to "pwn the libs." Even if eggs are still more expensive than usual. Even if gas is well above the $1.98/gallon level that Trump claims it already is. Even if housing is still hugely expensive. Even if prices at Walmart went up thanks to Trump's chaotic tariff policies. *"TDS" = Concession of Defeat* From now on, I will start tracking every time a MAGA cultist accuses me of TDS. Why? Because the MAGA cult loves to brag about "sO mUcH wInNiNg," even though they always run away from a legit debate with the "TDS" accusation. The truth is that "TDS" is a concession of defeat.
