we received an tsunami advisory, not a warning, so there
was no evacuation order. any wave would have been

deflected before reaching Masset, but the west coast of
HG could have been hit.

some debris might very well wash up but it will take a couple
of days - you know I'll be out there searching. as for scallops,
I've not heard of any washing up for years now. I can only
surmise they have moved on to other areas. more's the pity.

hope you get some rain but stay hurricane free. summer
hasn't really arrived here yet. 18 degrees has been our highest
temp and the 'feels like' temps have been around 15 degrees.
I'm okay with that but my tomato crop is virtually nil even in the
greenhouse.

.....there were often dozens of posts in a day.
Some of those friends are gone now. I miss them.

me too.

I've got a small crack on my MacBook screen - down by the
hinge, so now when I open it, I don't know if I'm going to have
a screen filled with vertical lines, or two-thirds of a working
screen. hoping it can be repaired cuz I can't see a new one
in my life right now. :(. shit happens but I'm not complaining
cause its not really bad shit.
