and folks say Apple knows nothing about AI.

Not really surprised about yesterday and even today. ARM makes 35 cent per share and we make 6 times that yet both are comparable in price.

Qualcomm has always been conservative with their guidance and has rarely beat in a significant manner. That's tiring.

The spring compresses, as is also usual. Buying opportunities abound and the execs have always been wisest about holding this stock.

The story here is built in concrete. The parts are greater than the whole. Very GE-ish without sails, much like the Titanic.

The good (innovative bank), the bad (steady eddie), the ugly (it's obvious).

Back then QCOM's AI PC was getting all hyped up - so investors
were looking at the future too optimistically.

Right now, they're looking at it negatively because they can't keep
their minds off Qualcomm losing the Apple modem revenue.

It's all about perceptions of the future. And, in this case,
neither one were / are very accurate. Qualcomm is doing
a good job at diversifying and shielding themselves from
the decline in Apple revenue.

The problem with QCOM is it's not really an AI play, AI is really the only sector booming, this too shall pass.

Metrics you cite are static, a point in time. Valuation is forward looking, particularly growth acceleration, not just rising metrics. JMO.
