Tariffs are moronic. But then too are corporate and income taxes moronic.

A consumption tax, on all goods and services, no exceptions (they cost us in terms of higher Gov overheads) is all that is required.

No personal or corporate tax filings (Except monthly/quarterly consumption tax receipts less paid)
Tax lawyers and accountants can find work that adds real value.
Transparent - we know what we pay!
Fair for all.
Attract business and investment.
Smaller overall tax burden given smaller government (IRS needs only reconcile consumption tax filings).

But will never happen in Amerika sadly.

Both members of the US Uniparty still have strong outlets of propaganda.

Note that during Biden's regime, the tariffs that Trump started in his first term were never reduced.

All poiticians love to have money to spend.

Trump just thinks bigger and is hard nosed enough to get it in a BIG WAY.

The rest is just spin.

Trump has put the US in a very excellent start to reshoring manufacturing.

Manufacturing that will stay here.

His tax bill is now permanent.

It will stay that way - unless we go marxist, socialist, or communist.
