I smoked weed in the 70's, I stopped for a few reasons, it made me sleepy and pot parties were so boring at least booze parties there was action sometimes fighting. Smoking weed screwed up my short term memory which I needed for my job. My very first experience with weed did not go very well, before I say anything else I will state I have never hit or harmed a female, I never even spanked my girls. Anyway so early 70's a buddy who took an art class in California comes back with weed, I had a girl friend and we went to his party, I drank a couple of beers and smoked weed, she got drunk and at some point at the party she was outside screaming bloody murder I tried to get her to stop but she kept screaming, it got to the point I was on top of her with my hands on her throat, I didn't choke her I let her go but I thought WTF. when I drove her home she puked in my car. that was it for our relationship
