Take a look at posts 6889,6897,6967. It may help. We're getting used to the constant conflicting instructions. I predict that this will be the biggest cluster____ we have seen yet.

If Datek thinks they've gotten in over their heads already, wait til they start clearing checks without funds to cover, etc. I only hope their SIPC insurance is in effect. Or whoever insures this kind of thing. <g>

I'm hoping and praying(?) that I'm wrong, and that they have somehow designed THIS system correctly. Hope we don't see a new poll by Peter.<s>

Here's keeping our collective fingers crossed.

Dear Datek Online Customers:

Thank you for your patience while we ironed out the last minute implementations of our new check writing feature.

You will be happy to hear that it is ready to go. I'd like to take a minute to cover some things that you should be aware of.

Anyone who has signed up for check writing via the web site will be receiving an e-mail back from us by Friday, February 27, acknowledging that we have received your request. There will not be any forms
to sign .

For those who have yet to request check writing, please do so at this time and within 48 hours you will receive an e-mail back acknowledging your request.

If you have any problems requesting this feature, please send an e-mail with your account number and username to fundsout@datek.com and we will manually process your request. In this instance, as well, you will receive an acknowledgment that your request has been received within 48 hours.
