OT: I investigated libertarianism about 50 years ago but recoiled in disgust when I found libertarians arguing that laws against the likes of slavery and child sexual abuse are government interference. Perhaps the primary role of government is to protect the weak against the powerful, but libertarianism completely ignores the use of power to exploit and abuse. Where do you stand on these issues? Are you a true libertarian? That's why libertarianism and fascism go hand in hand; they both privilege the powerful above everything else. LC
