Any thoughts of why Chump would want to shut down two inexpensive satellites that give us a wealth of information? They cost money to operate and there are newer models already on orbit. AFAIK, it is part of an effort to reduce expenditures on climate fanaticism. I'm quite sure if private organizations were willing to pay the ongoing costs, which are not that much, they could arrange to have the satellites remain on orbit for a while. I would object to taxpayers wasting the money, as well.
