Judy,
Perhaps shadowman can confirm this....I believe I read that historically the worst corrections come in March, not Oct. October is the record holder for 1 day drops but March is the worst month for the DOW. Can anyone confirm or deny or just clarify? Thanks.

PK

LBOR*, TAXI, STNRF, WMT, DISH all had very good days. Earnings plays carried the day for me and some of #rttrader. I utilized a modicum of discipline and sold 1/2 positions of LBOR, STNRF. WMT has had a few very good days and still has upside. I sold ADCT. TAXI still didn't report has more upside potential as well. NICEY was not a play all day but could be one tomorrow. Good thing about earnings plays is that if the increased volume/price is not there, the stock usually has an unremarkable report.

ORCL was a buy today not based on earnings. I still like that one.
