Um, tell me where it states they don't have rights. The Constitution does distinguish between citizens and persons, slaves and all you know, but nowhere does it talk about a third category. Nor does it detail the rights of the named groups, just how their representatives are apportioned.

So what part of the Constitution are you referencing?

Northam,
There is no where in the Constitution that says illegals have any rights in our country.
Illegal immigrants are people. The Constitution lays out the rights of all people, not just citizens or legal residents:

For example, here's the text of the Fifth Amendment, which you MAGA cultists have trouble trying to understand:

*******
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

*******

So if illegal immigrants aren't people, then tell me what they are and why the word "person" in the Constitution shouldn't apply to them.

No matter what, you are trying to dehumanize illegal immigrants.
