If I didn't know better I'd think you were being cynical, actually there are companies in MN that have missed their deadlines too. (Shock, Dismay)

I never said anywhere that OEMs aren't "seeing" them, I said "to the best of my knowledge they are not being delivered in volume" Which is a completely different statement.

If I didn't know better I'd think you were envious of the "Valley". Having grown up in Wisconsin, I can atest to the improvement in weather out here. Seriously, the business decisions made here are no different than anyplace else. Remember though, a "Non-Public" company can make any claim it wants, without recieveing a lawsuit. WHich is something that ANCR cannot do.....

If I understand you correctly, what you're saying is that when a High Tech/Silicon Valley company comes out with a press release announcing a new product/feature such as Arbitrated Loop with the phrase "available immediately", it really means 3-6 months before production is available and when there is no specific date in the press release, then it really means 6-12 months from availability.

I hope all the OEM's factor this into their own vaporware timetables. Sounds like a cat and mouse game of stalling the OEM's by making promises you know you can't keep just to stay in the game. Sounds like Larry Ellison's "Network Appliance" and Mr. Ed's "Windows "99" to me...
