More confirmation, I'm afraid, that anyone still here or recently joining the party should count on being here for the (somewhat) long haul. I did note that the Fool Visioneer folder was quiet to the point of coma (six posts since last July).

For any given cloud, there will be a given number of folks looking at the grey and others the silver. Apply the spin you want to make your case.

Here's my SDJ (Spin Du Jour):
OK, almost everyone's left the party. No institutions, no analysts, no Fools. We of the True Faith toil in obscurity, quietly accumulating 1k blocks of shares on dips to $2. Visioneer gradually introduces new HW and SW products, and sloooowly builds market share. One day, after the 2nd or 3rd successive profitable quarter, the institutions analysts and Fools come back. "Look at this wonderful buying opportunity" they'll say. "A profitable technology company for only $5/share." And the rush is on, our patience is rewarded, and we meet for a drink at Le Select on St Barts...

Well, it's my fable and I'm sticking with it.
