Ha! Maybe Intel! LOL

INTC would be far more affordable ($107B vs $346B for AVGO) and about the right size for COHR (only $15B) to swallow like a snake swallows a hippo.

Well, I just sold the last of my Lumentum for 167.45. I bought both it and COHR (as IIVI back then) in the 40s and the 50s a few years ago and watched them both dip and boom over the years as well as fighting over Coherent. I'm not really certain why LITE has doubled over the past three months while COHR has languished (relatively speaking!) by only going up by around 40% so I decided to sell the one.

The question is, why is COHR lagging by so much? Even CIEN has appreciated more they have. Is it the debt overhang? I am thinking about buying more on a pullback but I am also considering just getting out now because this melt up is starting to feel a little scary, shades of 2000.

What do other people think?
