Its, my kids have to carry their passports around 24/7 in case they are abducted by ICE, much like the Gestapo in WWII. This has only happened because of one guy. A person who was part of our household was brought in by ICE last month. Only because she had a huge and passionate group of individuals rallying on her behalf that day was she prevented from being deported, gang-raped, and then executed by the country she fled. This happened this year because of one guy. Just because it's not happening to you doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

What proof do you have or inclination to even state this? You are saying that Trump does not use the politics of division? He is the master of it. The problem you have is that this thread tends to see through it and arrive at reality.

Trump hasn’t worsened anything for me. However, the rhetoric is bad. The trade wars have worsened America’s image. Maybe the only thing that matters. Tourism to USA is down. Tariffs - if they stand - will eventually hurt us. Anecdotally, some top people don’t want to come to USA. Eventually, that will hurt. He has been anti-climate - eventually, that will hurt. I think Fed won’t stay independent. Eventually that will hurt. I think slapping higher tariffs on Brazil to defend a crook is wrong. I don’t know where you land on that. If a president is allowed to do that, what can’t he do? Let’s check in 2028, ok?
