Hi, Bob! This October could prove tricky, based on Wayne Whaley observations. It’s related to strength during the summer months - which may push some of September negativity into October.

In one of his studies, btw, he concludes that the year is best divided into 4 trimesters - October 28 to January 28, next to April 28, then to July 28.

Oct 28 to Jan 28 is the most bullish, with the best returns on average. The following trimesters gradually weaken - and July 28 to October 28 is the weakest. I’m invested, but trying not to get too aggressive until the end of October:)

The trading days = business days. We found a nice calculator not long ago:

Cheers!
