On 1/5/98 8,000 shares were registered for a purchase to a director of unknown name.

As I have posted before, the new Director Joseph Frelinghuysen bought 8,000 shares in December and another 6,000 shares in early January. I cannot find anything to verify any purchases by Blitzer. The Frelinghuysen purchases can be verified. I'll believe the Blitzer purchases when they can be also.
