The H1B Visa issue was front page news here as the big tech companies rely heavily on it while laying off US citizens. The story in the news says Trump's new $100K charge will just move those jobs offshore and we won't benefit from the tax on their salaries or spending in our local economy. BTW, I believe Yahoo!'s numbers are correct and what will be different is old shareholders will see far fewer shares in their accounts as most of their value went to the bondholders.
