CNBC has mentioned a couple of times today that Novell's surprise was due to a reduced tax rate and expenses, not increased sales. I'm actually surprised at the revenue numbers, thought they would be much less, are they real? Anyone seen a revenue breakdown yet?

Hi Don:

<<
<We have now have a confirmed up trending stock.>

If you know anything about TA, and I believe that you do, you know full well that confirmation comes from breaking previous resistance levels on volume, not failing to break resistance in spite of volume.
>>

Not clear to me is: "not failing to break resistance in spite of volume." Please kindly define your definition of a trend and why
you think novl is not in uptrend. I will then offer my analysis.

>>
Ignore the wishful thinking for a minute and look at the chart as if you were considering starting a long position at current levels. What do you really see? What is your usual opinion of a failed break out attempt in a very long and powerful down trend?
>>

Sorry, this is not clear to me either. I really would like to answer but don't wish to guess. Help me out please.

<<
As a rule of thumb it is worth looking at whether or not a person is comfortable enough with what they say in a public forum to use their real name.
>>

Is this a gentle way of chipping away at my credibility? I am especially surprised you saying it, when I have emailed you, offering help when you were looking for a "deep discount reliable broker."
I have also written about why I don't post under my real name. People on these board need no comfort by knowing a name and email. A name and an email that can not be verified is worthless. People who seek comfort from posters on this and other boards are naive at best. They will do better by believing in themselves, however uncertain that may be, it will be better than trusting me or you. <G? DUE DILIGENCE MUST be the MO of an investor not comfort...imho.

Finally, anyone needing to know who this writer is may do so by emailing me at {{seren21986@aol.com}} We will then get to know one another by minimum of;

Name and address, Phone number, Place of employment, work phone number etc. BY so called "mutual verification." Nothing in life, especially in these greedy and selfish markets, is free.

Regards,

Seren.
