Tarzan has a valid point... this is a trader's market right now. Products, markets etc. fade into the background. It doesn't take long to go through the fundamentals:

Markets: Expanding, obvious. Y2K, reengineering, etc. etc. Plus growth of internet business all database-based.

Competition: In the dust, more or less.

Products: Sometimes live up to mgt claims, more often not, but then it's all relative to competition. Biggest problem is shipping new revenue producers on time. The troops have been flogged mercilessly
to make sure this quarter isn't a flop.

How much discussion is really needed in these areas? ORCL, like most active big-cap tech stocks, is a trader's stock now. If you aren't into TA much of what happens won't make any sense at all.

Fundamental analysis will only make a big comeback after our TITANIC market has realized it's already met the iceberg.
