I made the same mistake with META , in my case I listened to the wrong talking heads. But I will say the share structure with META always irritated me.

Seems like all my high distribution dividend paying stocks have taken hits in the past week for unfathomable reasons. I am particularly surprised that ET would drop , since they are a clear beneficiary of increased power demand, but I am planning to hold all my income producing and energy names. I purchased ET when covid hit. annual Distributions are now 20% of my original purchase ,

I was surprised that Dell did not shoot up more yesterday with the investor day news. they almost doubled their projected annual earnings growth to 15%, which I think would compel a rerating of the pe ratio I am guessing to around 20. With projected pes under 20 I dont see MU or Dell overpriced here.

META. I too got scared with Z's "metaverse mania". Although business (advert. rev) was good, and the number of users growing, it just seemed like Z was going to blow all current and maybe future profits on his widely criticized eyewear attempts. Although I sold much of my holdings, I did keep a stub amount, per my mantra "Try always to keep a stub position". Grateful for the small gain (paper) from that. Also confirms to me my belief that for me anyway, it's hard, and just unusual, for me to reenter a position after selling. (And I did not reenter here.)
