Duane-

This stock has gotten a little ahead of itself on the news and I think its time to take profits here. It should fall back to the 40 -41 range where I think its an accumulate again. The news isn't going to change the near term fundamentals of the company.

FWIW,

Tech Master

TSO: Certain developments are revolutionary. What DPMI helped accomplish in the UofT lab is just such a development. I'm an amateur but was amazed. That tingling feeling of WOW!!!

Though I suspect we are still years away from mass acceptance we are certainly not going to 2009 to see 0.08u, that's for sure. Perhaps we can accelerate things to time with the mass acceptance of 193 nm litho tools - maybe around 2000-2002.

If nothing else, this cements DPMI's lead in the high end-market and validates their high R&D.

(Of course now we have even cheaper chips so hopefully those semi companies can squeeze good profit margins. Incidentally this is marvellous news for LSI! LSI's needs process technology to drive down costs and create true SOCs. Their SOC development could benefit greatly from this development. It also makes the IBM 0.12u Cu threat perhaps somewhat less of a long range threat. Those Dupont guys are amazing!)
