I have the same questions/concerns re FLC's recent price action. It's one thing when the whole group moves down in step, but lately FLC has me REALLY worried. I found the company home page and e-mailed to investor relations regarding projected earnings announcement date and whether there are any company-specific problems. If I hear anything, will advise. mph

Have been following both FLC & PTEN for the past several months. (but don't own any PTEN, yet) Both seem to be well positioned in their markets and earning estimates for 98 looks great, but their stock seems to be stuck in the mud. I think alot of this is from not being one of the "popular brands" like SLB, BJS, HAL, BHI, etc. I've called FLC lately to try and get additional info on how the merger flushed out overhead consolidation and what what profit enhancements are estimated, but no one had answers or couldn't publisize them. I was told the annual report should detail some of this. My next question was, "When is the next earning report???" Date not firm yet. Generally I become very anxious when companys stall on reporting their earnings. But on this one, I believe the merger has caused a big admin bottle neck trying to combine all the numbers and info into a single report. FLC should have a realy good year, push $65. I've no hard info other than what you have probably already have seen, to base this on other than my personal opinion. That and 50 cents will buy you a cup of coffee.

Dont be shocked if there are some merger charges on the upcoming earnings report.
