My reason was not Samsung, but that is good to know.

I am buying Korea because I think that as trade tensions with China rise, Korea and Vietnam get to be two of the beneficiaries. Other beneficiaries are select emerging markets. But I still haven't found an easy way to invest in them.

India is too crowded and Africa doesn't have a good fund (there's AFK, which I am considering, but so far I don't see a compelling reason for it). If there was a Morocco ETF I'd buy it. But I don't see that either. South Africa could be good, but so far I don't see anything that shows an advantage over the miners that trade in the US. Australia is another good place to invest, but I don't see a leveraged ETF. There used to be a 4x AUD ETF which I would have bought (and still will buy) but it seems to be gone.

So KORU is the only one I am warm about right now.

:(

Sigh!
