Trump thinks he can appeal to everyone around the world with his bombastic hyper neoliberalism, i.e. his "might makes right" doctrine. One place where his ideals were celebrated was India. The male Hindi nationalists who love Prime Minister Modi also once loved Trump. They loved Trump's hypermasculine tropes. They loved his "anti-woke" stance. They loved how anti-Muslim he was. And they felt like Trump's "America First" policies resonated very well with Modi's "India First" policies. Oh yeah, and Trump's desire to dress up his politics with religion also coincided perfectly with Modi and his appeals to Hinduism. After the recent terrorist attacks in Kashmir, though, Indians started to sour on Trump. This is because Trump tried his best to end the war without taking into account how pissed off Indians were with Pakistan. Trump even took credit for the ceasefire, but Modi denied that Trump had anything to do with it. Either way. these Hindi nationalists felt utterly betrayed. Then Trump, again in his dumbass pursuit of the "Noble Peace Prize," slaps India with a 50% tariff because of their continued purchases of RuZZian oil. Never mind the fact that China isn't being slapped with similar tariffs. Trump once again chose to try and bully India into submission, all for his own fukkin' ego. This is yet another example of how Trump is pissing off the rest of the world (with the notable exception of Israel). Even the people that are most aligned with his "might makes right" fantasies are learning that Trump can never be trusted, no matter how much you try and butter him up. Tenchusatsu
