My math skills were not good enough while at UC Berkeley to know if the physics experts were on acid trips or just having fun while high dreaming up all sorts of models that fit quantum theory.

I had more fun telling people that locks on their doors were not foolproof as quantum theory said it was possible for someone to suddenly appear on the other side. Those were the same gals I said to not worry about earth quakes knocking our 8 story dorm building over since they could just come to my room on the outside and survive as the buildings were designed to fall into the center courtyard and cafeteria rather than block the streets. All in fun.

I think one of the most interesting ones is quantum entanglement where information is transmitted far faster than the speed of light as in instantaneously. A Star Trek transporter might be possible with this but since we don't really understand gravity, I don't see it happening any time soon.
