According to ChatGPT, CFL player contracts do not allow them to moonlight in the NFL once their season is over. However, that doesn't apply to free agents. There used to be contracts that included NFL options, but those are no longer allowed through their collective bargaining agreement (presumably an owner demand that was met).

I keep thinking it might be fun to play QB in the CFL, but, being a grandfather, I'd rather spend more time with my grandkids. For sure it is tempting. Maybe if the weather in Canada starting getting much warmer, I'd start considering it. Or maybe if Gloop wanted to unretire and be my running back. Bill could be my long snapper. If you also have any interest, let me know. :)
