Jim mullen's has good earlier post on alphawave that I found on search " alphawave" this subject that discussed impact of alphawave and that the deal is expected to close in early 26.

Re Apple extension. Agree on the probability of Apple wanting an extension. Apples dealings with us have been the exact same strategy Nokia used. It would mean a big pop for us, then years more of being under their bad faith, predatory control. Can Qcom refuse it or simply discontinue their unique modem leaving Apple in chaos, or set a big price of cost plus the sweat equity of the chaos they bring us? I would rather take the hit, which has been pretty much priced in for a couple of years now, and be free of them "modemwise" forever. Of course still fight them royaltywise.

For too much of the time I have owned Q stock, 30 years or so, Apple has not been the solution but rather the problem and any ongoing relationship with Apple will not change this situation. It's time to move on and I applaud Q for doing so. Q cannot continue to allow Apple to have leverage over its stock.
