I've been thinking about dividend stocks also... they usually do well after a tech bubble burst.

I am NOT predicting a burst... I just want to have something that will do better than cash when the Feds have to slash rates to restimulate the economy and print money to finance President Mardani or Newsom's agendas.
I checked my chart page for VZ and PFE.... very similar 15-year results but for the past few weeks PFE back ahead.

I've been adding to PFE since I already have the stock and am not convinced VZ will do well basically selling a commodity (perhaps pay Musk Starlink for better coverage) but they are both probably "safer" for some cash you want a better LT return on vs mm funds.

My charts show both are testing very long-term support that became resistance recently:

VZ - Verizon Communications Inc.

PFE - Pfizer Inc.
