Funny you should mention this. I was just reading an article in the 2/23 issue of ComputerWorld entitled "A cloudy future for CE-based mininotebooks" (at page 65 and continued on page 68; it might also be online now or eventually, but I read the paper copy). I'll quote a little bit:

"'CE is just a pain in the neck,' said Howard Arkin, chief information officer at Gould Paper Corp., a New York paper manufacturer."

and

"But Ken Dulaney, an analyst at Gartner Group, Inc. in Stamford, Conn., said few corporate employees will want [upcoming devices based on Windows CE 3.0] because they do little more than process E-mail and are incompatible with Windows 95 desktop systems."

There are also some positive comments from others, but I'll let twister dig those out and present them.
