Some people I know very well have either met Pino at presentations or visited the plant. He was considered to be extremely sharp. I would not expect him to step aside unless he sold the company. As far as
Greenlaw is concerned, I would not be the least bit surprised if he were history.

Remember, he told me 9/30/97 that the quarter was fine - that was "preannounced" a week later. He told you 1/23/98 that the yearend and outlook were fine. It is his %$#?* job to be on top of the inventory.

Pino has plenty of personal incentive to do all that is necessary in term of hiring and firing the right people (including himself) or making the decision to sell the company.

does it mean a loss of 6.82? Hope not.
I just read the story on the WSJ interactive. Concise and to the point. Does not sound so bad.
