I brew my own coffee without any sugar in it. I also make my own bread. If I am too lazy to make my own bread, there is no bread in my diet. In a café I may buy a Latte, but it's not to big a step to change that to just tea without anything else in it, maybe a bit of lemon.

There is also a problem with our supply of honey. There is no need to buy crap honey where I live, we have swarms of bees making the real stuff without even building a hive.

The product should be clearly labelled "honey substitute". It is not honey.

etc etc.

That's me all tuned up to the new budget -g-

Now the future tax on Chinese imports brought in by post is more of a problem. I buy a lot of electronic stuff from China and the service and quality is usually excellent. We have a distance selling rule here that means substandard items can be returned without any cost to the buyer. That facilitates the quality of service.

Sure lower taxes is good, or even no tax at all, but this overseas manufacturing is getting so farking ridiculous. When I buy "freshly caught fish from the North Sea" in the local supermarket it is labelled at a product from China. i.e. the fish are frozen when caught, shipped to China for processing, and then returned to the UK for sale.

How is all that saving the environment? What about all the extra CO2 produced burning those fossil fuels transporting those fish out to China and back?

Things are utterly farked up and a change is needed. I don't care much how it happens, but it needs changing. What is the point of all this AI B/S if no one has a job and cannot afford a decent living? Capitalism needs to undergo a review. A big review. The corporate structure we currently live under is failing the human race.
