Yup, here's how that works.

People who get the vaccine take much better care of themselves in many other ways, compared to those who don't.

We're much more likely to drive carefully, much less likely to be smokers, we eat healthier and heed tsunami warnings, and are much more likely to get vaccines for other diseases.

We wear masks when appropriate, which lowers our incidence of other respiratory diseases.

While we're busy enjoying our lower death rate as the result of our sensible and science-assisted lifestyle, the unvaccinated continue smoking, driving drunk, eating McDonald's and Philly cheese steaks and disregarding tsunami warnings (science, you know).

That's how the unvaccinated are racking up a disproportionately higher death toll than those of us who are vaccinated.

I'm glad I was able to clear that up for you.
