"running water which most Canadians are not familiar with" gee first I have heard of it, did you know Canada has the most fresh water lakes in the world? about 2 million at last count. Locally we spent almost a billion upgrading our fresh water system so our water tastes great right out of the tap and it has always been pretty good. After a couple of driving trips to California I started bringing my own drinking water, your tap water was awful. I only drank the water in good restaurants. I was in San Francisco in a high end restaurant and a waiter kept filling my glass as soon as I emptied it. I don't remember the meal just the water, I also remember I gave him such a good tip he was really happy.
