I was going to include air conditioning with the running water but I figured with global warming you likely heard of it.

Many years ago we spent a day in Fairbanks Alaska after a Denali trip. It was a pretty warm day and I asked about A/C when we checked in.

All I got was a blank stare like I was from Mars. I never asked again.
