Far be it for a humble small investor to talk to the AMZN power shorters, but Amazon.com is the innovator here -- and will continue to break new ground -- that's what leaders do.

I know its becoming redundant, but there are now *20* form 144's filed in Febuary alone. See :http://www.edgar-online.com/bin/esearch/?sym=amzn&query=&ftype=&ftext=&date=1month&cik=&sector=&industry=&ba_state=&ba_city=

The float has obviously increased since the new short figures reflect a number greater than the previous float. Doesn't it worry anyone WHY? Why does everyone on the street want to short AMZN? Why is there a line of people waiting to get a hold of shares to short?

Isn't it obvious that the overvaluation has reached such a preposterous level that anyone with a little cash would rather sell than buy?

What about the new 2000 pound gorilla competitor Bertlesmann? Doesn't anyone care that every major bookseller in the world is copying AMZN's concept and gunning for them? That they can all underprice AMZN and can afford the losses? I am curious to hear why the longs out there think the party will last for ever..............;^)
