Talk about overstuffed channels again and a cancelled order to Intel, though that may be due to change to AMD for some units.

They also stated there might be some inventory problems with CPQ.

Yeah so these guys can get it on the cheap. Haven't you seen this done before, it is not like it is first time now is it? This is how these people make their money and oh yeah the trades this will generate won't hurt either, right?

Yeah Fli-by, I called my broker (Saloman Smith Barney), and point-
blank asked him to paraphrase myself, "you guys low-ballin' this one
so you can get in on the cheap and build inventory?". He answered
me sheepishly, ... well..." I said, LOOK, you buy more at 31 hear me?
Regards,
Joe...<F*cking manipulators... sheesh>
PS: Watch the "upgrade" after EP can talk on 3/6 and 3/15.

- "Anyone have any idea why they are knocking CPQ down today"

So they can cover short and initiate long position.

1. The time to play the game is right
This is the middle of two Qt reports. Right after the previous
report, the sky is clear, this type smoke wouldn't work.
Too close to the next Qt report, investor will remember what they
just said, and they take the risk to count a positive report.
Now is the middle of between two reports. By the time a positive
Rpt coming out, most people already forgot the downgrade.
So the time is right.

2. The nature of downgrade
It is downgraded from outperform to neutral.
To most investor, the word neutral is not clearly defined. The fact
is the neutral has the same effect of "don't know" in terms of
desicion making. Remember neutral is one of the answers of multiple
choice when you have no idea about the question.
How can you blame the analyst who is neutral on a stock? He is not
wrong no matter which direction the stock is moving!!!
you really can't blame someone for "don't know".
This is a typical no-guilt downgrade.

3. The reason of downgrade
Can the analyst convert the channel problem to a specific number of
reduction of EPS for next Qt? No concrete number was given. So the
downgrade is not based on number but what? There is no concrete
fact to justify this downgrade. But they did it anyway!
Why? So they/their follower can cover short and initiate long
at better position.

We, as most investor, will forget this downgrade and who did
it, when a positive Qt rpt coming out, because we will be busy
to ......
