Would ANYONE on this thread even consider that there is an ever so remote possibility that the downgrade is appropriate and justifiable, that perhaps CPQ is/was stuffing the channel, that the DEC marriage IS going to be very difficult, and that just by chance, the stock is fairly priced @ 32??? It was also said that the recent hiring freeze and executive expense contol at DEC could be because they are in financial straights. All-in-all, give these anal-ysts an opportunity to put a negative spin on things and they WILL. This should be a buying opportunity and as you can see CPQ was down 2+ today and is now down only 1+. Also, CNBC just reported CPQ down 2 on 4million shares, my rel-time system shows CPQ down 1 1/4 on 8+million shares...HOW REALLY TIMELY IS CNBC ??

WHAT DO YOU GUESS SMITH BARNEY HAS PROBABLY BEEN SHORT BEFORE THE DOWNGRADE??? This smells like a SB pushing it down on purpose. Don't panic sell. I would say this is a buying opp.. and I bet the shorts are gonna start covering real soon too.... Just my opinion.. Long and buying.... Fish
