You don't see range extended EVs because Chinese cars can't be imported into the US. Geely in particular. In China, they hold about 10% of the market and that penetration has doubled every year for the past two. Several companies like Renault and Mazda have joint ventures making them, but since they are manufactured in China, they can't be imported into the US. Mazda is working on a rotary range extender for the US market, though.

But you are correct, in the US Toyota is the only manufacturer with a range extender. Ford is taking another byte at the electric pickup with the replacement for the F-150 Lightning, the F-150 EREV.
