How many times have I seen CPQ downgraded only to rocket back up the following weeks? Yep, that right? The little guy who puts faith into analysts gets screwed again.

Bought some more today. There is no way this stock will not hit $40 within 6-12 months.

I agree with you there. This kind of manipulation is probably more commonplace as discount and online services cut into the full service profits.

I don't mind too much anyhow. I took this as an opportunity to uncover some of my leaps. Too bad they don't sell Jan'99 32.5 puts. One of my strategies when I feel very confident about a stock is to sell puts quite a ways out and buy twice as many calls with an earlier expiration date. Same downside risk as stock, but more upside potential. Couldn't find a combination on CPQ that I liked, but if it drops to the 30 range, I probably would.
