I use a full service broker and have found that the rights do not show up in my account until a couple of days after the X-rights day. I expect to see these mid next week.

I use Schwab. Called yesterday to leave instructions to exercise the rights, which did not yet show up. Bear in mind it doesn't go ex rts until today. I have to call back in 2-3 days to re-instruct, but this is just to make sure. Did get a mailer from Schwab and Citicorp where I have my IRAs both giving rights instructions. This came 3 days ago.
