To Ann & Sonny, As much as it my sound strange, I don't like all that progress that is lying ahead in 21st century! I don't want to be a part of it! I belong to the immediate post war generation! My parents, more than lamenting the war, the cold, the camps, the hunger, the death, and desolation, lamented for a world the vanished in 1939 when Germans marched into Poland! I like the values with which my parents lived, and I miss the respect that is no longer there, I miss coherence, I miss East and West, I miss the Wall that separated us from the Reds, , I miss knowing who is a friend and who is not! Now we have a world dominated by net, and governed by inept, and the Security Council! It is not going to be a fiesta! It is becoming more and more complicated to live, and to breathe! We have this camel jockey, Saddam Hussein, that is planning to kill us with his weapons of mass distruction (HE IS AS BAD AS HITLER!) Then we find out that MO has been lying to the consumer about the garbage they have been mixing in their tobacco. We can't eat hamburgers because it is cancer causing! Micro-wave ovens are cancer causing, cellular phones are cancer causing and so are copy machines, etc, etc, etc!!! You need money, just take your plastic card and punch in the numbers! No more human contact! At one time there was the corner grocery store and the butcher, and the milkman. These were real people. They don't exist. You even order your Pizza therough the Net! So, we no-longer go to Pizzaria! Sooner or later, we will not even go to work, we just punch keys, full automation. Then in a 100 years we will forget to walk, talk, and become complete vegetables! The progress is making us sick and weak, but no sweat, we should be happy becasue we can go to live in Sun-City so they can keep us alive and playing golf past 80, with help of progress!!! Well, first they make us sick with the side effects of the progress, and then they keep us alive attached to the tubes! Kind regards, yaacov
