Scott Adams, 'Dilbert' creator and conservative commentator, dies at 68 (NBC News)

I'm pretty sad at the news, but most of the political left is cheering, which is really telling.

I don't think Scott Adams deserved all of the hate directed at him. Maybe just 25% of it.

Rest in peace, Scott. We'll carry on your Dilbert legacy, including one of my favorites, the Seven Habits of Highly Defective People ...

I've re-created the knot on the scaffold, based on the various photos that were taken of it.

You could do the same.

You said you had tied nooses before, so you will know how the line doubles back down (inside the wraps), then wraps around itself back to the top, where it is secured with a single hitch.

It is, indeed, configured properly.

The white fibrous stuff inside is confusing you somehow, but that stuffing would simply be compressed by the tightening knot, and would not prevent the noose from doing its job.

Build it and you will see, the knot you keep claiming is fake would tighten up and crush a windpipe in a heartbeat.

Again, I am encouraged that you gave up on the scaffold being "flimsy" after I demonstrated that the timbers used in its construction would safely support 10,000 lbs or more. Now I just have to get you to take a deeper, more analytical look at how that knot is configured, and you will see that it, too, was up to the task.
