Won't try to convince you. It does appear to be a "sick" (predatory) business.

But try to ignore the "memes" of BNPL which makes Klarna's offering seem silly.

I was researching the Klarna Card - effectively a debit card that allows you to pay for goods in instalments... through leveraging merchant relationships. I do believe there is some real innovation there.

I think the world will continue to consume more and more. The whole British economy is based on financialisation and consumption. It's so ridiculous but it's too late to develop industries etc. Klarna allows more spending with less friction.

I think also research the CEO (Seb Siemiatkowski) and Chairman (Mike Moritz). My impression is that these guys aren't fools.

(But how many people would have figured Markus Braun to be a fraud? He owned 7% of Wirecard.)

I just think PYPL is so far behind in terms of innovation. There's nothing unique about their product offering imo :)
