I think you may have entirely too much time on your hands, ski. Time to visit a country in the southern hemisphere, which I suspect you have not done yet. Try Asia as well. I mean, you don't ski anymore, so you don't need to hunt the snow like you used to. India, Thailand, Australia, Japan, Chile, Kenya, etc. Stretch your legs. Get out of your comfort zone. You won't spend much time thinking about voting conspiracies while on safari in Africa.
