Like I said a few days ago when the stock was at $19 and change (see siliconinvestor.com : I love all the negative sentiments! Therefore it is time to buy.

Re - IBM, AMD rumor...

Yup, If true, it reflects on the poor yields and also the fact the AMD has given up on producing their own chips (Fab 25 with reasonable yields should produce 15-20 mil K6's).

The deal with IBM if true could cause further complications with Compaq. Because IBM would have a definite advantage in selling K6 systems as opposed to compaq (which would get the chips at a markup).
