Stockman, Jerry had to start these "talks" with IBM or else they would have booted him out after next month's shareholder meeting. Betting the company on K6 and still not delivering. At least he can say, "with IBM on board we should be able to increase substantially our K6 production throughout the year and may be able to meet our unit projections and return to profitability". Of course, everyone knows IBM will be screwing AMD a-la-Cyrix. Also, I'm not sure this will solve anything, since it looks like yields still remain miserably low.
But, at least I'm getting a bit of revenge on this company by trading it for a profit. I'll be out at the next train stop <ggg>
