I dumped my CPQ today for exactly the reason you've mentioned.

When I saw words of channel inventory overages, alarms and red flashing lights started going off. I'd been through that with MUEI.... it's the kiss of death. I wasn't going to ride this one down!

Glad I'm in DELL.. sigh,....just don't have enough of it, yet.
